Erron noted the soft warmth that fluttered in his heart when he noted how Skarlet, like always, kept his guns close. He wasn't used to being understood, which he was something he suspected she was familiar with, as well. It wasn't something he sought out often-he was a rough man used to trying times and isolation-it felt strange to be open and intimate. Still, he found himself enjoying the softness felt in his heart, even if it wasn't for very long in the grand scheme of things.
