He indeed had plenty of focus...especially when properly motivated. He nodded when Skarlet described quelling skirmishes and rebellions. The Khan was direct and unforgiving, as was what Erron considered his greatest creation. Skarlet could handle most of these things by herself, and she was damn near unstoppable if she had help.
"He was right to choose you for the job."
He knew that she knew that...but it felt right for him to point it out. It wasn't some ploy for attention; it was a statement of fact and respect.
"Glad to hear it, on all accounts."
His eyes sparkled as he held his wine glass, giving it an absent swirl in his hand.
