Erron allowed himself to be led through the marketplace, making sure to mentally catalog all the things she was pointing out to him. He would absolutely need some of these things later...but that wasn't what he wanted to think about right now. At the moment, all he wanted to think about was the feeling of Skarlet's hand on his arm and the way that the light from various torches and lamps caught sparkles not only in her eyes but also in the facets of the jewel around her neck. Her company always sat right with him, even when his wandering nature took hold and he disappeared for awhile.

Erron nodded thanks when the spiced wine was delivered and picked up his glass and gave it a careful swirl. He held it up.
